Vegan East

We went there during White Bear Lake's Fall Frenzy, and we got there later in the morning, so a few of the main dishes were sold out. We were able to get some food still, and their broccoli and cheddar soup was delicious. The Fall Spice cupcake was the best cupcake I've ever tried, it was light and fluffy and the frosting was perfect. I'd eat a whole dozen of them. We'll definitely have to head back and try some of the other food options!

I wish I could eat here every day!!! Seriously the best cupcakes! Also their other food is amazing! A must try is their chicken salad sandwich and broccoli cheese soup! Their White Bear shop is cute and cozy. The owners Reid and Sheila are super friendly also. :)

I’m a loyal customer here.. Today Sheila (owner) went above and beyond for me. We got there in the afternoon and a lot of the items were already sold out (still found some goodies ❤️). I’ve been fighting a cold and was craving some of their soup, and I asked what kind she had left. She stated they just sold the last of their Broccoli Cheddar (delicious) but she had some “experimental” potato soup that they’ve been trying out. Not only did she offer me some of the potato soup, but she didn’t charge me for it either. Potato soup was also delicious and hit the spot! By far my favorite place, ever.

You would never know this bakery was vegan! I have tricked some friends and family. Cupcakes are so, so good! My husband loves the brownies, best he has ever had. The staff is very friendly!!

So happy to have Vegan East in our neighborhood! This is my favorite place to stop for a treat and I love bringing friends and family in. It’s also very much appreciated that they offer gluten free items since I don’t always have the ambition to whip them up myself!

Would highly recommend their cinnamon rolls and cookie dough cupcakes.
