Great pool, clean spacious rooms, reasonable rates.
It is a nice quiet place to stay breakfast bar was ????
Everything in the hotel was very clean and all the interaction with staff was extremely pleasant. The pool and hot tub were both at what I consider a perfect temperature. Nice seating area outside with a decent view of an apple orchard. Only knocks are our bed was a little squeaky and the parking lot had someone's remnants from a brake repair job that looked like it had been there a week or more. Free breakfast was simple but what do you expect from a hotel with a great diner next door. I don't stay at a hotel for the breakfast, I stay for the bed and pool and both of those items were great.
The staff was very friendly throughout our stay here. A lot of hotels do not allow 18 year olds to check into their rooms without someone 21 or older. As three high school friends taking a road trip the summer before college, this was a bit of a problem. By the time we called Hometown Inn and Suites, we were a bit discouraged, but the employee informed us that they accepted 18 year olds and booked us a room. Once we got there, checking in at the front desk was a piece of cake! Our room was very clean and so was the whole hotel, although it could use some updating. The restaurant nextdoor, Emma Krumbee's, is a great stop for breakfast, although the continental breakfast is pretty good as well. The best part was that the hotel had hot water and coffee available all night, which some hotels only offer for breakfast.
