Old Southern BBQ - Shakopee

Very good BBQ. Very clean family-friendly restaurant. Clean and very quick service. No ice tea they were out. But over all the food was very flavorful. Come out and enjoy a meal with the family. Coke products, wine slushies. Plenty of parking!

The branding of the restaurant is solid. The food is good and the service is excellent . The value of the combos is not there yet . The coleslaw is average. Placing the Somers in the front of the house elevates the whole experience

Great variety of lunch, meat so fresh and tasty. Very filling too! Love the variety

Good selection. Meats were well-prepared. Wings were sauced *and then* smoked - good flavor.
I'd recommend the sweet potatoes and pickles as sides. My daughter liked the mac & cheese.
The cornbread muffin tops tasted soapy, but I'll try them again, just in case that was a one-off.

I'd put this 4.5 stars if I could. What a pleasant experience thanks to the wonderful lady at the front. Really helpful and sweet.

The 4 stars is for the food. Pulled pork was good and I'd order it again, but wasnt a top 3 pulled pork for me. The Mac and cheese was mediocre but still edible. I tried all the BBQ sauces and really enjoyed the Chicago blue. The rest don't fit my needs.

Overall a 4.5, and will likely visit again. When I write my reviews I base it on everything. The place, people, food, and comparing it to all the places I've been to. Hopefully this review helps.
