    Wonderful dinner date spot. You can dress up like we did or stay casual. Staff are great and friendly and the prices aren't as pricey as one would expect.

    This is a place you go to for the view. And you want to be there after sunset. We went there before dusk, so we saw Duluth with lights out and stayed until the sun had set and saw Duluth with all the lights on. So beautiful, such a nice view. We went there for cocktails. They mainly serve Martini-like and Cosmopolitan-like cocktails. If you are into that, go for it.

    Our waiter was so nice and the food was amazing. Every bite. I had the NY strip, pricey... but worth it. The fettuccine was super good too. The bill wasn’t as expensive as we thought it would be. Advice would be: make sure you go on a clear night. It was cloudy so we couldn’t see much but enjoyed the restaurant. Thank you!

    What can I say about this place besides "one of a kind!" JJ Astor overlooks Duluth Downtown, the hillside and of course The greatest of all lakes " Lake Superior." This restaurant features an area that rotates 360 degrees to see everything around you. The prices as expected are high, but what did you expect from the fanciest restaurant in Duluth. We had the pasta Chevre with chicken added and it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had!! You will not regret going here if you want a fancy night out!
