The serving sizes were generous with some dishes providing two meals worth. The prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was clean and the servers were timely and friendly. “Fall golf at The Jewel in Lake City did not disappoint! For a price of $63 (18 holes + cart) the course was in great shape for late October golf in Minnesota! Cole, the desk attendant, was great to check in with and have a conversation with. 5 sets of tee boxes to play from, the bentgrass fairways were in great condition. The greens were in great shape as well and FAST! The Bluffside bar and grill was staffed nicely and the staff was prompt and courteous in their service! For the price, the golf, service, and quality of course, it couldn’t be better for the time of year!”

“This is a great authentic Mexican restaurant! It is the perfect addition to Lake City! The decorations are standard, but colorful with beautiful murals of Mexico. I like that they put lots of pictures in their menu to help decide and to help me recall what some of the names are. We had Margaritas in these beautifully hand-painted margarita glasses!”

“First, I love a place that does breakfast ALL DAY! This time however, I went for lunch. Had their signature burger with the fried eggs and bacon (name??) which was great; I believe it was a 1/2 lb. of meat. Portion sizes were generally large and quality seemed consistent throughout the menu when observing other folks selections. If you come from out east, you'll be reminded of many of the NJ diners as far as menu options and atmosphere. Options are mostly American style as well as a Greek Influence with some items, not quite the 150 options like east coast diners but, VERY hefty menu by normal restaurant standards. It's a family business and the family were completely lovely :) and service could not have been more pleasant! I do not live in the immediate area but, will try to share food photo's if I get back.”
