Lakewood Tavern

The buff mac & cheese is on point. One of my favorite items to get here when I stop in. The staff is awesome from the greeters to the management staff. Chris, Dan, Mel, Monica, and let’s not forget about Jenny, just to name a few of the fantastic employees they have here. The beers are always ice cold and it’s a fun atmosphere. Don’t get me started on the bloody bar.

Update: Changing my review now that I gave them another chance. I am glad I did. 6 of us went in for a girls night. Service and food were amazing. Vidal was our server and was very attentive and friendly. The owners, Tom and Christopher came by and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was top notch. Very pleased. Thank you all!

Nice and clean inside. Service was fine/average. No complaints there. The food was mediocre at best and barely even warm.
Prices are pretty elevated for the quality of food.

Great addition to Lake Elmo restaurants. Two of us visited on a Saturday for lunch, reservations were not needed. We were seated immediately. I have heard evenings can be quite busy though. Our server was polite and checked on us throughout the meal. We ordered two entrees and one beverage. The bar had some unique draft beers and seltzer. Next time we'll need to try the mimosa or bloody bar.

The Bourbon Peach drink is unique and fabulous! The Bourbon Bacon burger was amazing! The staff were welcoming and friendly. The manager stopped by! I enjoyed every bite and every sip! I’m going to sound old but the music was a hair too loud for chatting but it was a fun vibe! I will be coming back!

Stacy was our server and was amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and fun. The food was an awesome surprise. We got the caliente burger which was cooked perfectly and just the right heat. The Jamaican jerk wings were the best wings wings we've had in awhile! Nice selection of beer options. 🍒 Cherry on top was the old fashions that were delicious and a good finish to the evening!
