Delicious food and all the meals were on different plates which was cute. My MIL said her french toast tasted like onions, so clearly they make everything on the same grill. Otherwise the atmosphere and food is great with plenty of space for parking. Place is located right outside the skirts of downtown stillwater.
Really fun classic diner, complete with the wrap around bar and tables sharing the aisle. Good classic comfort food. HUGE portions.
A Five star gem. Love the hustle and music of this place. Food amazing. Lovely quirky taste explosions of favorites. The Monte Cristo was delicious with the pistachio marmalade. Great customer service. Awesomeness at its best. Great vibe????
This is one of our go-to restaurants at home. The service and the food is almost always outstanding. Our recent visit was certainly an exception. I realize that the staff wants to go home....but we arrived 50 minutes before closing time and received terrible service. Our serve was completely inattentive - running around somewhere in the back cleaning. One time she did actually check on us she had just cleaned one of the bathrooms. Nice. One of the cooks actually brought out our food since it sat on the shelf for over 5 minutes - I was looking at it hoping it wasn't ours.
The food itself was also less than impressive. It was, of course, not very hot but it also seemed to be hastily prepared. My salad appeared to be made with the bottom of the bag spinach and not much of it. It was visibly stale. And the "coconut chicken" had absolutely no visually identifiable coconut.
I'm giving them 4 stars based on previous visits. Had I reviewed them prior to this visit it would have been 5 stars. At this point, however, I'm not sure I'll go back - they completely let me down on this past trip.
Spur of the moment decision to have a burger at the Oasis. What a great decision. The atmosphere is fabulous. I loved sitting in a booth and watching the activity. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly and the burgers are at the top of my all time list. The meat is nicely seared and juicy and the buns are grill toasted to perfection. You will be offered fries or fruit but do yourself a favor and get the fries. They are a through back to a better time when people didn’t get hung up on how they were cooked as long as they tasted good and these fries are fantastic. My favorite burger in the world is Mel’s in Moab UT but this place is right there at 1.1
