The Plaza Hotel & Suites

Excellent hotel. Room was large, we booked the family suite with two queens and a pullout sofa. The price was competitive and good value. Beds, carpets, walls and other amenities were all clean. Fridge and microwave in room. Pool area was great. It was easy to watch the kids in either of the pools, hot tub was large. Pool flooring was textured stamped concrete with great traction so we didn't worry about slips. Sauna was out of order. Breakfast was nothing special, muffins, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, fruits, cereals and some other stuff. We will definitely stay here again in the future. We also ordered supper from the attached restaurant, River City Grill, pizza and zesty ranch wings were amazing.

Overall great amenities, including a beautiful pool, fantastic coffee and breakfast, enclosed access to River City Grill and guest laundry. Main negative is the walls between rooms seemed very thin: I could hear the tv, phone convos, etc of my neighbor. Also the bathroom layout wasn’t ideal but 2 sinks was nice so for some couples that might make up for other shortcomings.

What a friendly staff!!! Wonderful clean rooms, spacious bathroom, and bonus points with a very good restaurant connected to it.
Convenient to the main road and not far from a few fun and great spots to check out for visitors. Highly recommend this hotel. I will be staying here whenever I will be in town.

Big room. I'm pretty sure the sheets had not been changed. Beds were not comfortable. The room was clean. Lady at the front desk was very short with us when we checked in. Pool was nice, hot tub not very hot with very low pressure jets. A book would have been nice in the room explaining the layout & amenities with a map of the hotel. Would not recommend the bar/restaurant attached. Poor service.
