Today was my first time visiting this location. I just wanted to sample the food hoping not to be disappointed. The food was exceptionally delicious! I ordered the fried chicken( staying on the safe side), greens, Mac & cheese, candy yams, the meal came with a complimentary corn muffin. The chicken was some of the " best" I have ever had! It was hot, crispy & freshly cooked! Everything was seasoned well...not too salty nor under seasoned. The macaroni was the real deal...not some boxed mess camouflaged with milk. You could actually see & taste the cheddar! The greens were good but in my opinion average. The yams were delicious & perfect! Even the corn muffin was moist & delicious! I will definitely be coming back to try EVERYTHING the menu. This is my soul food spot from here on out. I hope the quality stays consistent. Hats off to the chef! This was a much needed positive dinning experience after many disappointments at other restaurants. I will warn you the wait was long but it was well worth it. The food was extraordinarily hot & fresh! Did I mention I ate every drop? I was surprised. Found myself looking for something I may have missed! It was so good I ate it all! Money well spent! Finally.

Fried pork chops were spot on. Crisp. Moist. Delicious. Had mashed potatoes which were great and the Mac and cheese was just right. Super hot and fresh. Will be going back.

I was visiting Memphis and was looking for soul food. Was going to another place in the area….. Thank God it was closed because that’s how I found this hidden GEM!!! The food is absolutely amazing. It was hot, fresh and SO Delicious!!! It was so good I went back to try the Sunday menu! It’s not over priced and she doesn’t skimp on the food. I can’t say enough good things about it. Every time I come to Memphis this is where I plan to eat. Try it I promise you will LOVE IT!!!
