Found this gem today on accident and am I glad I did! I had the vegetable plate while my husband had the burger. He felt it was the best burger he’s had, and I must say the vegetables I tried were fantastic! I had the cabbage, green beans and yams with a corn muffin. All three were super flavorful and wonderfully seasoned! This is real home cooking from someone who actually knows how to cook!! Yum!

Fries was very soggy and not done. Sorry I asked for nothing on my burger only on the side. Place needs a make over bad. It's stuck in a Time Warp. (My personal opinion) The fish was good (my husband said) and the fried okra needed way more breading (personal opinion) otherwise good. I love bread! I can say good is the two girls at the counter was very friendly, nice and wanted to help. That maybe the only thing that will keep me going back a second time. The sweet tea was great.
Let me say this. You can't take criticism personal. This is only one opinion. Looks like you have lots of great reviews. Keep up the good work. I don't post these reviews for you. I do this cause this is my personal experience.

Awesome food!! Some of the best catfish you could ask for and great service! Melanie is very sweet person and will make sure that you have a great experience! This was my first time but will not be my last!
