Georgia Blue

This is a nice place and I really hope it stays that way. We sat upstairs in the Landing (please keep in mind the menu differs up there with appetizers and limited burgers only) So when we go back we will go downstairs for more food selection. I had the strawberry lemon drops... Oh so good... the food upstairs is just ok but The vibe is nice & relaxing here. Everyone just wants to have a good time. The entertainment on Tuesday was funny and engaging... 2 men & their pianos.

Such fun. I had the duck wontons to start, and they were simply delightful. I'd return again just for them. For my meal, I had a po boy with shrimp and catfish, it was not that great. The bread was good, but the sandwich itself was just average. Also tried the nachos, also very average.
The restaurant was incredibly loud. We didn't sit where the band was playing, so I'm speaking of the downstairs restaurant area. There's no sound buffers, so this is not the place to go to casually talk while you eat. You'll be left almost screaming over everyone else.
The prices aren't bad at all, certainly appropriate ratio to dollar value in the serving sizes.
We waited for about 15 minutes for a table but I'd come again. All in all, pleasant experience.

Food:

The food wasn’t all that good as it looked. I think maybe only because the temperature of my food wasn’t as hot as I desired it to be. I ordered the Bayou Catfish and I wished it was more fresh. The grits were a little on the cold side…not sure if it’s meant to be that way? The fish could be a bit more seasoned as well. We had a bigger party so my food could have been waiting while everyone else’s were being prepared.

Atmosphere:

Atmosphere was great as well! I like how while we waited to be seated, we could walk down the little strip with stores nearby the restaurant as we waited. That was a really cool experience.

Love the decor and how spacious it is. The food was wonderful! The loaded fries are a refreshing change from the regular. Our server was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I love this place. The staff are exceptionally good at their jobs & go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great experience every visit. The food, drink and entertainment are excellent too!
