My daughter found this place while on Mothers Day vacation. Its located away from the beach in town. When we arrived we looked at the menu and they had so many different things to choose from. All kinds of empanadas and traditional breakfasts. Different teas and ice coffees as well. I got the 2 egg breakfast. It comes with 2 eggs cooked to your liking, a bowl of fruit, sausage and a homemade biscuit. You can also get bacon. They have inside and outside dining and was the most wonderful atmosphere to enjoy your food in. The staff was helpful and friendly. Was a great dining experience. I will be back!
What a great find! The hardest part is figuring out which empanadas to get. The empanadas were all very flavorful and delicious. The salad bar was a great add too, and had a lot of variety for a small salad bar. We also enjoyed the extensive coffee bar and the various options for both hot and iced coffees and teas. The restaurant is also very cute and clean. All in all, a great experience!
Just recently found out about this business after living in this area for 5 years. Katelyn was my server and provided a welcoming atmosphere. She was also knowledgeable about the history of the business. Food is great and the place is very clean. However, the location is hindering their potential; probably the reason why the prices are not what some are expecting. The location blocks the view from main road (gas station) and the main parking lot (smoothie business). Otherwise, service, food, and atmosphere was great.
First time visitor. Place was clean and the staff was friendly. Tried three empanadas - yellow curry, mushroom and cheese, and spinach and artichoke. All three were very tasty and hearty! Mushroom and cheese was my favorite and look forward to trying other flavors and the salad bar next time. Welcome to Biloxi, Empanola!
