Half Shell Oyster House

My wife and I sat at the bar..Sam took did a fantastic job taking care of us. The raw and charbroiled oysters were perfect! The Royal Reds were spot on! This was our first time there and we will definitely come back next time we're in town. The service was stellar compared to the other local restaurants we've tried.

Beautiful local spot. I would highly suggest this location over the restaurant located inside of the hard rock. For more of a local flavor and atmosphere, pursue the off site location and enjoy the culinary experience presented by the experts. Amazing oysters and land alternatives paired with an impressive whiskey collection.

Half Shell is excellent, one of the best seafood meals we have ever had. Had about 20 minute wait on a Sunday around 5pm. Don’t miss the crab topped fried green tomatoes. Raw oysters were very fresh and cold. We shared the fried seafood platter with Okra and it was excellent! May have to stop back here for lunch on way home from Florida!

Big fan of the Half Shell. Every time I'm in the area I make sure to stop by. Food is great. Always get a few dozen of oysters maybe a few more. The new crab beignet are great and the local beers on tap are good. The ambience is great and welcoming.

Phenomenal seafood! I got the Shrimp Orleans and my wife got the mahi tacos and both were incredible. The seasonings and sauce on the Shrimp Orleans was the absolute best I've ever had on shrimp and I wish I could make a supply of it and eat it every day. We got a slice of turtle cheesecake for dessert, which was equally as amazing. I highly recommend stopping by the Half Shell Oyster House!
