Tough to find anyone that knows what Pittsburgh rare or black and blue refers to. Had a great char taste. Very enjoyable.
Morton's Steakhouse was beyond our expectations! Our table service was great and always prompt. The steak and lobster was cooked to perfection. And the bread was awesome. We will make this our choice of dinner each time we visit Biloxi!
The ambiance and decor is beautiful. My waiter was good, but my Cajun Ribeye came out rare and I ordered medium. My waiter took it back immediately and bought out the same exact steak which took an additional 15-20 minutes. I would have preferred an fresh steak, since it wasn't prepared correctly the first time. Additionally, my creme brulee didn’t taste fresh and the $18 long island was weak, an Long Island is suppose to be a stronger drink.
Just want to start off by saying our server Chris was amazing and made our night there amazing. The bartender on the other hand, wasn't much help. I tried asking what Islay whiskies they had available and the bartender said he didn't know. I had to actually go up to the bar and look for myself. Which wouldn't have been bad, if it was a lesser quality restaurant.
I got the 24 oz prime porter house for my meal, cooked medium rare. The strip side came out burnt (not crust actually burnt) and dry, like cardboard. It was more along the quality of a choice steak. The tenderloin portion was better and more what I'd expect for a prime porterhouse. This made me feel like they cooked each section separately. Overall, the steak was very bland, unseasoned, and didn't have much a beef flavor.
