Saltgrass Steak House

It was really delicious. We can always count on good food. My chicken was a little overdone but it was delicious. My son's ribeye steak was cooked perfectly. My husband's country fried steak must have been great because there wasn't a crumb left. Our service was great and our drinks were always filled promptly. My special order salad was correct and no big deal.

I only gave them 3 stars because we opted for carry out because of the 30 to 45 minute wait to be seated for dine in and we didn't receive all of our food. Originally a Texas girl so I had high expectations of the chain and was mildly disappointed in the food. Price was median at $70 for 3 meals. You get one side choice and a salad but they didn't include our salads, first disappointment. When we opened our to-go containers we were thrilled at first glance it looked really good. However I would not recommend the Chicken Fried Steak. It looks awesome but it's mostly breading, our second disappointment. We also got Chicken Lerado but we're disappointed once again that the toppings were hiding a rather small piece of chicken. Flavors were good on all of it though so that part saved the experience to some degree.

So if you want to take your guest to a place for the atmosphere this is a good choice. If you are seriously hungry might not be the best place to go. Be prepared to wait however and go early because the stop seating at 8:30, with the wait time to be seated at minimum 30 minutes.

Service was great. Steak was good but I have had better. I don't think it's worth the price. I would go back if friends wanted to go but it's not my first choice. My server was outstanding. I wish I could remember his name.

We went in for Sunday brunch. We were seated immediately. Our server came right away with menus and took drink orders. She then took our food orders and took pains to get our request for what we wanted and how we wanted the food prepared. The food was delicious. The service unhurried. The atmosphere was quiet and we had a nice leisurely lunch! The cost reasonable. Will go back again when I am in the Biloxi area.

Everything! I suggest everything here. You can't go wrong. Our family loves this place. From appetizers to desserts. Anything that you order will be delicious.

Visited again yesterday 08-08-2020 after having many wonderful visits and great food experiences (even in takeout). We had 6 adults. One person ordered the fried shrimp and loved it. However, the rest of us ordered the steak and shrimp and we didn't. We were shocked to find that there was gristle all the way through the steaks for all of us. It's not a good thing when you must use your napkin to discreetly spit out many pieces of your steak because of this. The service was slow. This can be looked over but paying the amount that we did will send us to other restaurants. This was our favorite restaurant.
