Shaggy's Biloxi Beach

We brought my mom and our two kids for a quick afternoon from New Orleans to Biloxi. We were surprised to see a major political parade happening, filling the restaurant completely...which was not a problem for us. We were somewhat uneasy, walking into the room, with how we might be treated. Well. The staff and the service was EXCELLENT! Everyone was seriously very welcoming...so much so that I felt it was important to write a review and let them know. Keep it up - we will be back. Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing food. I don't typically like seafood and was impressed! We had the fried green tomatoes and crab cakes with cujun sauce, as well as the queens red shrimp? Shrimp in a white wine broth with potatoes and sausage. AMAZING. Our server Devin was super friendly and kind. She made great recommendations as well!

3rd visit to Biloxi in the last 4 years. Each time, we have eaten at Shaggy's. This place would be a success if they didn't serve any food--the location is just that awesome. great sunset view from the deck. The service is good--attentive but not overbearing. The food is great beach fare--burgers, seafood and the like--perfect for the location. I hope to return again for many years!

Food was wonderful! Drinks and atmosphere on target! But most of all the service was impeccable! Our waiter was very attentive. I also have give a shout out to whichever employee found my knapsack. It had all my wallet, licenses, credit cards debit cards, car keys. Well and a lot of vacation money. They were so honest held it for me overnight and not a thing was missing. When I offered money to repay he wouldn’t take anything. Told me this is what we do! My faith in honest people has been restored. We enjoyed the food and the wonderful view if the Gulf. The Burgers hit the spot and tasted fresh. The ? fries were tasty and not mushy.
The bartender was very friendly and helpful, I was grateful since my waitress disappeared shortly after taking my order. She didn't return until long after we finished our meal, if the bartender did not help out and we were not in a rush I would be ? upset.
We did enjoy the meal and a walk on the beach. I hope to return soon to give it another shot and get better service, I really wanted to try some shrimp but I didn't have a waitress to take the order.
