    Simply the best tamales you can find. Miss Doris watched me grow up. Every other year my parents would plan a trip from Birmingham Alabama the tamales was ALWAYS the 1st stop. It was our thing we did, it made the long trip extra special.
    Thank you for your tamales, this place has so many memories... I even when Doris's Tamales sat on the ground!

    Doris’ Hot Tamales is a great little spot on the coast. There are not a ton of tamale joints on the Coast so it is nice to grab a few of these when we are around. They are definitely more expensive than other tamales, probably a lot more expensive than they are worth. They are milder tamales as well so they are great for anyone who doesn’t love spicy. I always polish off about a half bottle of hot sauce with these.

    I gave three stars because Google is dumb and won’t let you do half stars.

    I love this family owned stand! Still carrying on their mother name and tradition. Tamales are great and always hot! Only set back is they only take cash, but it’s so worth it!
