Italian Bistro

This is the best, most authentic Italian cuisine on the Mississippi coast. I am pretty confident about this observation because I lived and worked in the Tuscany region of Italy for four years . I had many Italian friends then, who loved to eat wonderfully delicious food as much as I did!.. This delightful cuisine and simple place brings me back to my memories of Tuscany Italy...

First, I would like to say that our experience here was disappointing. The food was absolutely delicious! Other than that, it was not good. Our waitress never came back to offer us more drinks, and we had to literally flag her down to get them. She was very kind, perhaps they were just short staffed that evening, I don’t know. The lighting in that place is the worst! It is like being on an airport runway. It is so bright and offensive. The waitress did dim the lights for us, but it wasn’t much different. They should really consider not using those fluorescent looking overhead lights, and improving the atmosphere with soft lighting, and perhaps a candle at each table. Also, did not care for the music. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I actually want to hear Italian music. It makes the experience more authentic and enjoyable.

We stopped in Pascagoula for lunch and so happy we found this Bistro! Very quaint dining area, food was so good and our server was nice! We wanted Italian food and this was the perfect place! Will return soon!

Great lasagna, garlic bread and salads. Love this place. Staff always nice, never a wait and food always hot.
