We found this gem while traveling through town on our way back home and decided to give it a go. It's not hard to find and not too far off the interstate. The atmosphere was nice; chic but homey. We opted to sit at the bar (which is usually our preference) and the bartender, Austin, was attentive, helpful, and personable. The food was delicious. Hoping they may expand the menu a little bit in the future, but either way it was a great experience. The owner was kind and thanked us for our patronage as we were leaving. Glad we made the stop. We'll definitely swing by again in the future.

We absolutely love the Buzzard's Roost! We have tried everything on thr menu and have enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is cozy and classy. Service has been great on all occasions and things are flowing much better from the kitchen since the soft opening weekend. I highly recommend the chicken skins (fried chicken bites), the patty melt and the buzzard dip. While they don't have liquor yet, the beer selection is great and there is something for everyone! It's great to have another local option available in Laurel! Highly recommend!

Hey y'all. Whether you're visiting Laurel or live here, this is a great place to stay, eat, and soon, a fabulous place for drinks. They have 1 of the best bartenders in the Pine Belt, very friendly, accommodating wait staff, and owners who are amazing and readily available if you have questions or concerns. They are one of the core Laurel families (Rodney is always ready with a story about the history of Laurel.) I eat Keto and have been able to eat several items off the menu with minor modifications, which they are always happy to do for me. They are 1 of the few downtown restaurants open on Sunday for brunch with breakfast food and we're all thrilled for that. Stop in, have a snack, a meal, or a beverage and say hi...we'll soon have your life story and share ours...it's that kind of place in that kind of town.

So we stayed at a VERY cool inn last Friday evening for our anniversary! Entrance instructions were very clear,

Once inside - the warm colors and lighting were perfect, it truly felt like we took a portal back in time! The main hallway & common space is an awesome mix of old with modern amenities- and neither screams at the other. And there is a GREAT story of the family Matriarch!

We stayed in the New York suite, and it was welcoming, and indeed reminded us of The Big Apple. The exposed brick; antique wood floors, the soaring dark wood ceilings all provide an open loft feel without being utilitarian or cold. The mix of modern furniture and Art Deco lighting is spot on COOL!

The earth tone color choices throughout the Inn just adds to the warm, welcoming, restful vibe of the Buzzard’s Roost.

    Well Done Keri! ❤️💪🏼 🏆
