I absolutely loved this place. I was working on a long tour and remember this place with such an amazing memory in my heart. We had just worked all night and been on the road from Atlanta. I fell asleep in the car and the next thing you know, I wake up on a beautiful Sunday mid day in the parking lot of this tiny white building.

I felt so underdtessed when we walked in, you could tell everyone had on their Sunday best. Kids were hanging out, family. Everyone was just the nicest and walked me through picking the best food I'd maybe ever eaten up to that point. Everything about the entire experience was enjoyable and I really felt like the folks there cared about making sure it was.

I hope you all read this! It's been two years since we stopped through in our hippie van and you just made my whole day. Definitely stop by and enjoy ig you're in the area!

I had the chicken leg quarter dinner and it was fall off the bone tender. The cabbage and carrots was cooked perfectly and the mac and cheese was super cheesy just the way I like it.
Wish I could have gotten the recipe for the cornbread to take back to Kansas City with me because it was that delicious and going to wish for it when I make my next batch of beans.
