Crab Boat Restaurant

If you like crab legs and shrimp with flavor and seasoning, this is the place for you. Don’t question anything about it, just come here today. We got crab and shrimp, Cajun; hot. Trust me when I say this will be the best crab leg experience you’ll have anywhere. If you like no-flavor, casino buffet crab, this isn’t the place for you. The staff is wonderful and the food was wonderful. We drove an hour and a half from home to eat here and we will most definitely be back.

Four of us want for dinner at this Cajun/Creole restaurant. My wife enjoyed the fried shrimp basket, and I had the popcorn shrimp basket. Yep, it was pretty good eating for us. Our son-in-law asked the owner for one of their turkey necks. Braised in Cajun seasonings, that was a tender tasty neck. Not a lot of meat, but worth the work.

I just can't say enough good about the Crab Boat in Madison, MS. The service is always friendly and exceptional. I am a Coast boy and this is as close to a home-style Gulf Coast restaurant as you will find. It is nice but not fancy, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Had lunch there Friday and brought home a pound of boiled shrimp for supper. The shrimp were cooked just right and even though they were still in the shell they were de-veined. Wow!

Found out about this hidden jewel of a restaurant on the internet. We were very pleased. We had the fried crab claws for an appetizer. I had the royal reds and sausage. Husband had the fried oyster basket. Everything was so good. Great service. We will be regular customers here!
