“Nice spot! Really clean and the restrooms were clean. Food was good and the staff was nice and attentive. Met with my realtor there. The prices are good too. I was able to feed 2 for under 20 bucks. I ordered the steak and refried beens bowl with lettuce and tomatoes with cheese and she ordered an omelet with some other stuff. It was nice and no crowds around noon time. A great place to talk business and sign paperwork.”

It gets a little slow at times (such as the lunch rush), but once you get your order, you'll be glad to wait a minute. Everyone comes for the burritos, but my favorite is the bowl (or "Earmuff"): you get a good layer of rice, beans, and meat, smothered with toppings. If you get back to the nearby theater and want a quick, hearty meal before the movie, this place is a good choice.”

“We eat here more than anywhere else. It’s our casual default restaurant. The food is almost always great, sometimes just good. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. My wife’s chicken quesadilla is only $7 and some change but is loaded with fajita chicken. I usually go with the full out fajitas. Cheese dip isn’t optional at our table. Side note: they have less turn over than most restaurants we’ve been to, so it’s the same servers, which equals consistent service.”

“We always have a good experience with the food and service at Hokkaido. We usually eat at the hibachi table or order takeout, but sometimes we eat sushi, and everything we have had has been good. I prefer to eat my meal hot, straight from the heat, and I like that this is about as close as you can get. In our experience, the employees are friendly and our orders are correct. In some of the Japanese hibachi restaurants we have visited, we find they don't check our drinks very often, and we run dry and have to get their attention to get more to drink. Hokkaido gets this right. Hibachi food is, in general, more expensive, but unless you have a really big appetite, there is enough food here per person to take home another meal from the leftovers. My kids love the fried rice with shrimp or steak or chicken, and they are generous with the meat. Recommended.”
