“The family celebrated Father in laws birthday, by getting together and eating a good steak. I'm more than happy to say, we weren't disappointed. The cut we all ate, had been cooked just right. Everyone in our group said that every bite was soft and tinder. The people were nice, friendly and helpful. Our waitress was super busy, but still made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable experience. An older gentleman came by and checked on our meal experience as well, I assumed he was the owner. Super friendly fellow. If you get the chance, pay a visit ,for a good meal.”

It is good for a quick bite and better than your Kroger pizza of course but not gourmet by any means. It certainly won’t stop me from grabbing a slice and some cheesy bread. “This little place is easy to miss in your commute through here, but try to drop by and get a good plate lunch. The catfish isn't gourmet or anything, but it's flaky and delicious. There's also good hamburger steak, meatloaf, and a few other dishes, with a good selection of sides (carrots, beans, greens, etc.). Price is a little more than one would expect, but this is the best place on this side of the Reservoir to get some country cooking that I've found. It's worthy of a visit on payday, if not more often, as your budget permits.”

“I’m giving 2 starts because I don’t think the tamales are bad. I called in at around 3:00 to see if they could do a to go order. The lady on the phone stated that they are already made and that they’d be ready when I got there. So, I go to grab a coffee before I headed that way and she calls me back and asks if I was coming to get them. I said I was right down the road about to be there. To me it was odd, because it hadn’t even been 20 minutes and she was calling me. Didn’t know I had a time limit. The hours say “close at 8:00” She said okay. Within 15 minutes of that call I am there at the location. Just to find a piece of paper on the door that said “be back at 4:30” it was 3:50. I have never experienced something so inconsiderate and unprofessional. I have my toddler with me and could not wait. Not that I would anyway. I will not be coming back.”

“Overall, this is one of my favorite places to eat crawfish every spring/summer. They have great spice, taste, size, and texture. The prices are reasonable too for live or boiled. In addition to crawfish, I’ve also tried their boiled shrimp which I would also recommend even if they are more expensive per pound. They also have a nice outside seating area. Not as good as my own of course but still delicious crawfish.”
