Latham's Hamburger Inn

One of my favorite spots to stop when visiting the area!

I’m only rating this a three because there were no public restrooms and no way to wash your hands. However, the owner(Not sure but she was super nice) had a solution, hand sanitizer. That’ll do, for now. Next, everyone should know this is not a hamburger joint, it is a slug burger joint. It was quite a surprise when a bit down into that crispy sluggish meaty burger. Especially when I had never ever heard of such a thing but it satisfied my hunger and opened my eyes up to the world of slug burgers. Thank you Latham’s.

Try the cheeseburger at least once. Its unique style of prep won’t be for everyone but that’s part of the experience. The outside of the patty is basically crispy and the inside is soft. It was tasty and I really enjoyed it as a change-up from a standard griddle-cooked burger.

The atmosphere was great. Small town charm written all over it. Really enjoyed the simplicity of the menu and the tasty food.

The atmosphere and service were great. The burger was just okay and the serving of onion rings was small...like five rings small. The ice cream was delicious. It's worth a try, but I won't be going back.
