I'm glad the food was great yesterday, because if today had been our first time trying Glenn's, it would have also been our last. Our meal was amazing yesterday, which caused us to return today. Disappointed to say the least. The eggs taste like oil and the rest of the food is lacking in flavor. I'm sure we'll give them another shot in the future, but if certain chefs only work certain days, we'll need to figure out the rotation. Consistency is huge for me, so I hope this is just an off day.

Wonderful dining experience and food. Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and bacon... well, bacon right. Enough said about that. Bourbon Street meatloaf and the Buttermilk brined fried chicken were both excellent. A shared piece of seasonal Autumn Squash Cheesecake topped off the meal perfectly. And hey, the drinks before the meal were delicious too!

This is the first restaurant we’ve visited publicly since COVID. We had ordered takeout but it was better to be there! We sat outside, there was a breeze and although the server did not wear a mask we felt safe. We had some sort of breaded seafood appetizer that was so tasty and filling you could make it your entree, have a salad and there’s a meal. We also came for the cocktails— my favorite is “dirty money”, a refreshing cucumber drink. Our favorite entrees are blackened redfish and shrimp and grits which are as good or better than we’ve had in the South. Finally dessert came in tiny canning jars and the peanut butter chocolate was a delight! Also the servers at Glenn’s are friendly, experienced and go out of their way to make your meal pleasant.

I went to Glenn's for an early lunch, having walked by many times but never going in. The staff was very polite and accommodating, interacting with both the Host and our waitress. I loved the QRcode menus, a great use of technology. I confess I didn't have the entrées, I got overwhelmed by the appetizer menu, ordering half of it for the table.

The cornbread smelled amazing, I knew it was coming before the waitress arrived at our table. We cut into the mini loaf and ate half of it before I remembered my phone and the plan to take a picture. It was so light and fluffy, and the butter just melted into it.

The fried pickles are the best I've ever had. The presentation was very rustic, brought to the table in a small cast iron skillet, and I loved that! From the breading, the crunch of the pickle and the parmesean ranch, it was so good. A must order again.

Then we come to my favorite, the Nouvelle cakes. Presented on Basil leaves, they looked gorgeous. Biting into one and getting shrimp, crab, and crayfish, with breading that was heavy enough to hold shape, but light enough to combine with filling. I'm still thinking about them the next day.

My glass was never empty, and my food was brought out quickly, and with multiple tables, I never lacked the attention of my waitress.

During the pandemic, outdoor seating is a must for me. Ventured out for our anniversary and were super pleased with the precautions Glenn's is taking to keep everyone safe and healthy. All staff wore gloves and masks, hand sanitizer out for all to use, menus available via QR code.... Food and drinks were as good as ever. We recommend the basil pear martini and the dirty money. Devilled eggs are good. My go-to is the shrimp and grits. He had the meatloaf, and it was enough food for three people, no joke. Service is always impeccable at Glenn's.
