The food was generally lovely. Especially the salad, which is nice because it's not often you get a decent house salad in Columbia. BUT I ordered for pickup and they told me it would be 45 minutes and once I arrived the place was empty and my food had definitely been sitting for awhile. The tempura was barely warm. But my largest complaint would be the size of the rolls. 2 $15 rolls didn't even fill up a single to-go sushi container. Of course the sushi was good but for $30 it was just not enough food. A poor value imo.

Everything was delicious. From the start to the finish, we enjoyed all of our choices! We started with Gyoza (steamed dumplings), Kampai salads as a second, and rolls (California and Crazy) as our main course. Each dish tasted fresh and flavorful! Our server “Nina” was friendly, efficient and personable! She made our dining experience all that much better. We will definitely return and try other interesting items on the menu!!!

New to Columbia and been searching for a good sushi place. We finally found one here. Quality product and great service in a unique setting in downtown area with great outdoor seating. My friend is retired Japanese restaurant and fish shop manager says it's in his top three sushi experiences. Hamachi kama, toro, blue fin, king salmon, hand ground wasabi. Waitress had been to Japan fish market and new the product. Support this place!

Sushi "in the alley" is our go to for sushi in Columbia. It's also our go to for date night because the setting is nice, always good service too. Very clean, clean bathrooms, indoor and outdoor seating. They have more than just sushi too.

I have dined here a few times. Everything dish I’ve tried is great. Noodles is flavorful. Their cocktail is bomb. Staff is friendly. Some of the upstair seating is not comfortable because of the height of table/chairs. But overall I definitely come back.
