Oh my Lawd! My husband and I started a vegan diet in February 2020. The town we live in has 0 vegan restaurants. We had a four-day trip on the Katy trail that brought us through Columbia. We stopped here for lunch and our mind was blown!! I had a "Tiny House" salad that had the best dressing EVER! I also had the BLT, and my husband got the "Hey Porter." We returned the following day for more goodies. Their "midnight brownies" are vegan and FABULOUS. Their fresh-squeezed juices are amazing as well. It's a darn good thing I don't live there because I would absolutely positively be a broke whale.
Oh so good!! Stopped in for lunch. Oh so good!! Stopped in for lunch on a snowy February day. Warm, colorful inviting atmosphere! All day breakfast, plus salads, sandwiches, wraps and bowls. The buddha bowl was filling and balanced in its flavors. Nice portion of rice with veggies. The juices are bright and full of flavor. Regenerate was my choice of the day - crisp and green. Topped off lunch with a chewy cookie. I’ll definitely return.
I had the Notorious BLT which was really yummy with the Tempera Bacon. Tom had the special called the Benedict Bomb it was fantastic with the wonderful layer of BlackBerry Jam & Jalapeno. We split our orders between us.
To drink we each had water and shared a Purple Rain drink w/Elderberry which really hit the spot.
One of my places to come back to when I visit Columbia. The atmosphere inside is simply lovely. It’s quite unique with such a flair of characters around you. And let’s not forget, the food is hands down the best. Their potatoes are always on point. One the best in town.
Although I’ve lived in Columbia for 14 years, I only started eating a vegan diet (90% of the time) about 4 months ago and so checked out the Main Squeeze today for the first time. I had the “Hey Porter” breakfast sandwich and I must say... it was absolutely the best vegan sandwich that I’ve had in the last four months! SO GOOD! I’ll definitely be back!
