Good food, prompt service, huge portions

I got the Fiesta Dinner and I loved every bit of it except for the tomales. I haven't found a single restaurant that makes good tomales. Even though it is a hassle to make and takes all day it seems to be the one thing that home made is always a thousand times better. Would definitely go back to try something else on the menu.

Great tasting burrito and enchilada combo plate with beans and rice. Service was friendly and quite quick for being noon. I'll be back!

To begin with we had the Mexican usual: chips n salsa. The salsa was runny but tasty, and the chips were from a bag. I ordered my usual order: chicken chimichunga. It was stuffed with plenty of chicken and not too spicy. The beans were runny and the spicy rice, tame. The wait staff was plentiful but service was spotty at best. The atmosphere of the place was casual and perfect for after work business relaxation.

I frequent Rio Grande because their service for one is exceptional. The same folks are typically working the front and recognize me, and even if not are welcoming with a greeting.

I have pretty much tried the entire menu at this point but stick to their steak dishes as the meat and seasoning is spot-on, better IMHO than any other place in town. Keep on making great food and recommended for larger parties as well!
