Fresh pizza out of the oven, great staff really the only downside is every time I receive my pizza, it's way to hot to eat so I'm always burning the roof of my mouth. But other than that the pizza is amazing.
After living here and being a regular, it’s all but required that you stop every time you come, no matter how short your stay. I really wanted to hit the 9th St location to see how it looks now that construction is done but it was a game day and didn’t want to risk the crowds. The pizza was as usual, excellent. You set your own table and pick up your pizza at the counter. Plenty of seating everywhere, TVs to watch the Tigers lose...
Loved the atmosphere. I had the Panda's Pepper pizza and liked it. It was not as hot as expected. I thought it was very cool that's they had red cloth towels instead of napkins.
Iconic place.. good pizza. But I do have to say the whole wheat crust has never met my expectations in the decades I've been eating it. Yet I still have hope
Shakespeare's Pizza is an Iconic restaurant in Columbia but I think with more than one store they are stretching their nostalgia. The south side shop is nice but I've always had to wait quite awhile to get my food. I also don't think their pizza is that good or that original. It's only good because of crowd impressionism. They hover nowhere near the quality, quick pace, customer service, and local mindset that Pizza Tree does.
