Tiger Chef

We love Tiger Chef! My husband and I go all the time. Their pad Thai is, in my opinion, the best in town. My favorite is the tea leaf salad- I've never seen it anywhere else and I am addicted to it! Definitely give it a shot!

First time visiting tonight, but it will not be the last! I had the Pad Thai (at a 2 out of 5 spice level), and my girlfriend had the Tiger Fried Noodle (at a 1 spice level), and both were amazing. The staff were smiling in a way that showed they were happy to be there. The decor isn't anything to write home about, but the food is truly where the love shines through. Keep up the fantastic work, Tiger Chef! We'll be back soon!

I had a Burmese dish called Monhinga, and it blew me away. I’ve never had anything quite like it. It’s a super thick and savory fish noodle soup with fresh cilantro and a boiled egg. Definitely comfort food that sticks to your bones. I’ve never seen it on any menu before today and now that my eyes have been opened I’m going to try every variety I encounter. (It’s only available on Saturday and Sunday though...so time your visit if that’s what you want.)

The menu has quite a few other unique dishes and I will come back to try them all. Everything my girlfriend and I ordered was excellent.

Columbia has long had a good variety of Thai options, but this one is immediately at the top of my list.

Highly recommended for the adventurous palate.

This place is amazing! I had the Tom kha soup with chicken and it was so delicious. My boyfriend got the monhinga which is a traditional Burmese fish noodle soup and he loved it as well. He was impressed to find a dish he had never had before right here in Columbia, as he’s very cultured and well traveled. There was also a table of Thai ladies by ya that kept saying it was the best Thai in town also! Definitely check this place out next time you’re craving anything Asian!!

Tiger Chef was quite a pleasant surprise. The Thai iced tea was amazing. The chicken satay was really good. The noodle dishes were not bad but could’ve been better. A major negative was that the Tom Yum soup was extremely salty. Overall, I would give a 4 star but the friendliness of the staff makes this a 5 star review.
