This place was amazing! Best etouffee I have had in Missouri! Not to mention the staff was awesome since we walked in 30 minutes before closing. We will for sure be back.

Great overall experience. Beer and chicken sandwich were both excellent. Nice location next to the water. The group I was with raved about the service for like an hour after the meal. Our waitress was outstanding; very attentive and somehow kept 4 different families straight for the separate checks on her first try. Pretty impressive.

Great place, Great food, Great service.
Having never been to the area before, we had narrowed our search for dinner out down to 2 places. Shorty Pants and another. The other place came up first on the search, so I called them. We had a group of 30, and while we understand that they don't take reservations, we were just kinda giving a heads up and making sure they could accommodate us. The first place seemed to be put out just by my phone call. Shorty Pants said, "come on in". While we would have preferred to be outside, beggars can't be choosers, so we ended up inside. Had Stephanie as a waitress. She had some food runners but other than that, she handled us all with ease. Food was awesome. Drinks were awesome, the whole experience was awesome!! Highly recommended. A few of us actually went to the other place for an after dinner cocktail, and even at that, the bartender was unfriendly and rude and seemed put out by us being there. So they're not even gonna make the lise for next year's trip.

Waited 40 Minutes for and outside table. Well worth the wait. We were able to see the duck, fish & turtles. The boats passing by was a great atmosphere. The Guest guitar player was really good. Food was amazing. Everything was made to perfection - Drinks never ran low. Server was Funny and extremely tentative to all of our requests.

We enjoy sitting outside. You can see ducks, fish and turtles in the water. Food was good, but our daughter requested no onions on her burger.. it was served with onions, and requested sweet potato fries, but was served regular fries. The waitress brought her sweet potato fries quickly.
