Lambert's Café

I have NEVER eaten at such a restaurant! The food is exquisite! But even more than that, the crowd (yes crowd) was so much fun! The customers actually participate by raising their hands to get free hot rolls, which are thrown to you from across the room. As you eat servers walk by the tables with big bowls and offer up free black eyed peas, sorghum for your rolls, potatoes & onions, fried okra, etc. The waiting lines seemed blocks long, yet you're at a table in minutes! Hundreds of people. As we were leaving I noticed the music over the sound system, the customers were actually all singing along with the music! This is not a meal! No this is an event! Pricing was more than reasonable, and because it was my birthday I was given 9.00 dollars off! This was the most fun I've ever had for going out to eat! Wow!!! Don't miss this !!!!!!!

Had the Prime rib. It was delicious. The service is great. If you want a roll you have to be a good catcher cuz they throw them to you.

Back at Lambert's and again with the all you can eat prime rib. (It is not on the menu, you have to ask for it) It has a great taste, cooked just right.. And the rolls are still thrown. Bring someone who can catch.

Oh my goodness! What a great Thanksgiving feast! I don’t know how they (Lambert’s cooks) prepared all those carry-out meals without diminishing the quality. I ordered the family meal for 8 and it could have easily fed 12 or more. The meal included a whole smoked turkey, the best mashed potatoes ever, gravy, cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, beautiful yeast rolls and a pumpkin pie. I also ordered macaroni and cheese.
Everything was absolutely delicious! The meal was a great price at $135.00 (including the extra side of macaroni and cheese) especially since we ate several meals from it.
The pick up system they had in place worked smoothly. The lady who brought the food out to us was so friendly. Also everything was packaged so nicely to transfer it.
I cannot say enough nice things about our Lambert’s Thanksgiving Feast. They made our Thanksgiving away from home extra special! Thank you to those who prepared it. You are appreciated!

Food and ambiance was good, I loved the pass around, fried okra, fried potatoes and macaroni with tomato sauce. Not a big fan of the macaroni with tomato sauce. I would have given it five stars but I ordered the livers with onions and to me they were not the greatest. I have eaten other meals there that were great.
Either way Lambert is always a good place to take your family out to eat and have a good family time while eating and drinking. I would definitely recommend it if you never been.
PS my kids really enjoyed the rolls that were being thrown.
