The Outpost

We are from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Looking up where to eat, Google recommended The Outpost and compared it to a famous burger joint back home, Sobelmans. That's pretty creepy of Google, but there's no denying the burgers here rival one of the best back home. You will be impressed by the food. Make sure to try the Karaoke!

Saw good reviews. Came in. Was NOT disappointed in any way. Happened to hit steak night. Perfectly prepared. Prices are great. Great service. Live music. Definitely recommend and will be back

For what it is, it's great! It's got a cool look to the place and there's tons of room. The bar was actually full while there was plenty of room in the restaurant. I was attended to quickly and I ordered the special. Chicken fried chicken with potatoes and green beans. It was all good and it was an absolute mountain of food for less than $10. There was all kinds of stuff on the menu, not just bar food. I'd try it again for sure.

Kind of a hole in the wall place but the food is excellent and the service can't be beat. I had the mac and cheese burger with onion rings. The burger was one of the better burgers I've had and the mac and cheese was outstanding. The onion rings were good but needed a little more seasoning. You could tell that there were a lot of regular customers as most of them knew the staff by name, but they were still friendly and welcoming to a first timer such as myself. I'm only in KC for 2 days, but I will probably come back for lunch tomorrow.

Diamond in the Rough! This great bar and Grill offers tasty food, great music, and wonderful service. The people are friendly. You're greeted at the door with a smile and welcome to find a seat wherever you're comfortable. Wonderful atmosphere! Wonderful music with songs like George Strait, The Commodores, and Journey. Hang out for a while and shoot a game of pool, pinball, darts, or sing some karaoke! Fun place! Delicious food with a wide selection to choose from, very nice people!
