Giambalvo’s Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta

This is a great hidden gem in Kearney and Easy to get to, right off the highway. I went with a party of 5 so we could try different dishes. It was awesome, from the friendly staff to the very tasty and filling dishes. Pizza’s to pasta, with a full service bar!

What a pleasant surprise. Driving cross country and stopped in Kearney Missouri for the night. Went to closest Pizza restaurant per Google. Blown away by the wood fired pizza oven and the food. Great fried ravioli and a surprisingly great wine list. The Bad Bulldog pizza was fantastic. Will definitely come back on the return trip. This restaurant would be packed in Houston or Dallas.

First time visit, not bad...not my favorite pizza establishment. Overall restaurant & restrooms were clean, and our server was nice. My husband and I ordered 2 beverages, 2 small ceasar salads, Garlic Cheese Bread, and a 14" Bad Bulldog Pizza. Overall ticket price was $38 not including gratuity. All the food had a great appearance, the cheese bread was hard and we had to use a knife to cut it...we weren't that fond of it. The pizza crust was paper thin and loaded with toppings...crust was a bit thin for our liking, and didn't seem to have very much pizza marinara sauce. It was good, but we were hungry. The only thing that we were irritated with was, the food seemed to arrive in less than 5 min of each dish we ordered...so we had food allover the table with little room to maneuver (could have been bcuz they weren't busy). We will revisit to try other entrees. Overall we had a good experience at this establishment.

Best pizza north of the river. Excellent ingredients and friendly quick service.

The yummiest pizza ever! Gluten free pizza is the best around! All pizza is wood fired! It’s amazing! The gluten free pasta is fantastic as well. Would definitely recommend.
