(January 4, 2020, 1:44 am)We love J’s. We have eaten at the one in Hamilton, MO several times, and just tried the one in Kearney. Both are great. Just be prepared to wait. The Burgers are made to order, so don’t expect to walk in and out quickly. It’s worth the wait though. I noticed people complain about price point - you are getting a non-chain burger. Also, our family orders 1 jumbo fry instead of 4 small fries. That helps too.

(October 17, 2019, 8:56 pm)I will start with the atmosphere. Very cozy place. The name ties together well with the ship themed decor. The only note is to change the lighting. The open bulbs look nice but are very bright and low hanging. So I can't look up to talk to someone I'm sitting without being blinded. Either raise them up or put a cover around them.
The burgers were very good. A little pricey. Great seasoning. The Cajun fries had a great taste but could be a little crispier. Ice cream was also delicious.
Overall a good first experience.
