First time being here. All I can say is amazing. Food is awesome! Good drinks and beers. Service is very good and staff are very friendly. You have to try the BBQ chicken quesadilla! The chefs special pork chop was moist, tender, and flavorful. We will definitely be back.
We had an awesome time at this restaurant. We enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and the menu. The waiters were very attentive. I am happy we eventually decided to eat here.
Cheeseburgers are juicy and big and buns are fresh and have a homemade taste. Grilled chicken salad sandwich on toasted bun also has homemade taste to it but then they make the salad themselves. I've heard the rueben is also good as any u will find. They have a soda machine and iced tea. Also the store itself has beer and ice cream and homemade cupcakes.
I like this place because of the feel and location. The drinks were really good - I had their specialty ale and my wife ordered a mixed drink. I really didn't like my meal though. I'd go 2 stars on this, but my teenage kids liked their meals, and that's always good. My complaints - the chips and cheese dip were frankly barely edible. And the coleslaw was just too overpowering for my po'boy - I had to scrape it off to eat it.
This was a great find down the road in the big town of Smithville. The brisket grilled cheese was great!highly recommend it. Everything on the menu looked good. Hard choices. Looks like all the food is comfort food. Very pleasant atmosphere and staff were very friendly. By the way the peach cobbler was great! Wish I could give more stars.
