Hawthorne Inn

This place is definitely a hidden gem. Not only is it on a picturesque street, but the food and service were excellent. We are from out of town, but the place seemed popular with locals as well. The food was well prepared and fresh, including the seafood. Our waitress was great!

Love this place! The food is delicious. The ambiance is very nice. Everyone walks the fine line of enough attention and bugging you very well. Once of my favorite local places. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I had the strip steak grilled to perfection w/ house salad and side of pasta. My wife had fish sandwich and side All for 30 bucks and some change. WOW, what a deal!

This is a great place for lunch and dinner. The food is always good. I travel to different power plants which are usually far close to rivers and not too close to restaurants. This place is perfect for us and your get away. Try it and you will like it. Looking to save a few buck too, look for a Groupon.

Food was quite delicious. Had the recommended special "tenderloin 8oz. w/ a port reduction sauce stuffed cheese, onion, etc...the cost was a little too much but I must commend the chef. Such a wonderful taste experience. Service was adequate but they were quite busy and it was the little things that weren't attended to. It wasn't many but it did take away from the positive of the overall experience.
