    Friendly people large portion tender delicious meat. This is a small family owned place with a down home feeling. Don't expect a big fancy dining area because that isn't what they have. Not a large group kinda place but nice stop if you are in the motorcycle looking for some delicious BBQ.

    My coworker was eating your BBQ nachos & raved about how great they were, so I stopped by the next night for dinner. The nachos were out of this world! I’m not a big BBQ eater myself, but I’ve been craving another plate of them since!

    Was in Washington for an event and saw hazels back porch barbecue. Decided to stop in and was glad I did. You know your in a good bbq joint when you smell the aroma of smoke, beef and pork before you see it.
    And it helps that it’s a locally owned business with an owner who is proud of her place.
    Nothing fancy about this place- just solidly well smoked meat at a great price.
    Ordered the brisket and 1/2 slab of ribs.
    Portions are generous and amazing in price. I know my smoked meats and they know how to do it here.
    The owner and staff are welcoming and explained everything.
    Absolutely worth many repeat visits, including the drive from St Louis

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Hazel’s!!! The ribs are AMAZING!!! If you don’t already know, when she sells out for the day, they are gone so get yours early!!! We got the baked beans, coleslaw and blackberry cobbler with our ribs and could not be more PLEASED about our meal!!! Also, the service was PHENOMENAL!!! From the young lady that greeted us at the door, the wonderful aromas outside and inside the restaurant, Hazel’s family atmosphere SCREAMS southern bbq! We will be back... a lot! Thank you for the BEST all around restaurant, from our family to yours!!! ♥️♥️♥️

    Food it tasted even better than the delicious aromas wafting from the building, if that is even possible. The half chicken was moist and bursting with smoky flavor. What's the weather Hazel and staff were very helpful and welcoming. In the area dropping cousin at a doctor's appointment. I live almost an hour away but will be back with my family.
