“This is pure Americana. I had the cheeseburger, Italian style. It was a juicy burger while a generous portion of cheese and large sliced pepperoni. Once I took the first bite I could not stop eating this burger. I just needed more of this delicious medley of meat and cheese on my taste buds NOW. Once I finished the burger, it took a minute, the burgers are real burger sized not the shinkflation patties you’ll find at McCorporate, I moved onto the pickle brined fried to order chips. Good grief! Now I’m not a chip guy, my wife asks for chips at the store and I skip ‘em, store bought chips are a waste of time in my book. Now that I’ve had the Snack Shack chips I feel entirely validated. These chips will make you want to burn down a Doritos factory for the disservice they’ve done to what chips are supposed to be. Snack Shack chips highly recommended. I’ve known the guy who IS the snack shack, he runs it, he owns it, and he believes in it. Gabe’s been talking about opening up a burger place almost as long as I’ve known him. When you eat at the Snack Shack you’re eating something that someone put it all on the line to make happen. I’m a world full of inauthenticity it’s refreshing to find something that represents the best parts of the American dream, and that brother, is a fat American cheeseburger. Get over to the snack shack and taste a dream come true in burger form.”

“Our new favorite shop!! The owners are really friendly and the atmosphere is like a speakeasy for cigars (plus they have a full bar). No smoking indoors, making it family friendly, but they do have a private patio with a heater if you wanted to smoke your cigar on the spot. They also have house made baked goods (try the lemon almond rolls— game changer) and all natural apothecary goods (soap, beard oil, etc.) Perfect place to pick up some high class gifts, or just hang out— if you haven’t been in yet, check it out.”

“Hands down, the BEST peppermint mocha frappe you will ever find! Customer service was amazing, environment was welcoming, and the outside seating area had a nice view. Locals are very nice and helpful. I really like that this place is just off the walking trail, so you can go for a walk/run before you indulge in some extra calories :) I also wanted to say that their bakery items were exquisite as well! My husband and I shared a Gooey Butter Cake slice and it was divine!”

Do yourself a favor and order the Scallop appetizer Stuffed salmon entree that comes with a baked potato Lobster Bisque that is a few notches better than Coopers Hawks the salad(simple but quality ingredients) the Tuna entree with cooked spinach size was large and cooked so good. Melted in your mouth. Tried to pace ourselves but couldn’t finish everything. Ready to go back tonite. Going to try the patio overlooking the Missouri River. Pete knows how to cook. “I have to so I am impressed with not only the food, but with the price and service. In my opinion this is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants around. We were seated and within 20 minutes of sitting down our food was at our table. I ordered the Pulque Nachos. They we're individual chips with even amounts of chicken and were smothered in cheese - just the way I like it. I requested no beans and they serve them exactly how I ordered them. They were like mini tacos. And they tasted great!! The staff was friendly and attentive but not annoying. While the atmosphere is a little cold it is still a nice place. For the money you can't beat this place.”
