Not too many places like this left. So thankful I found this gem while we were staying in Augusta.

Best burger in town and onion rings but the portions are a lot smaller than they use to be

Word of advice get the double cheeseburger, the single it good but the double is worth it

Take a trip back in time to a classic small town diner where the locals gather to grab a bite to eat and spend some time with friends. The atmosphere is flavored with the theme of the Popey comic strip which brings back more than a few childhood memories. by , and the food is always hot and does not disappoint your palate. If you are in Washington, MO make sure you stop by and check out Wimpy's.

Friendly burger joint/ grill. They grill the good right in front of you and cooked to perfection. The son of the owner was working and very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were also very reasonable, especially in today's times where everything seems to almost be doubling their regular price. Definitely going back next time I'm in town.
