We had an early 4:30 PM dinner on Wednesday August 14. We liked the atmosphere of this place. The food was very good. My wife had a really good brisket. The smashed potatoes lacked seasoning which dropped my rating. I had the bratwurst dinner which contained two different bratwurst that were excellent. The cole slaw that came as a side was some of the best that I have had. The cheesy jalapeño grits were good too. Nice beer selection. I was disappointed that we were the only customers but I guess it is slow on a Wednesday. Service was good.

This is a very quant destination in Herman Missouri the atmosphere and music brings you back to a simple experience of a true home style establishment. Of course the choices are limited to a flair of Germany and AMERICAN cuisine very tasty and delicious. This is a establishment that I highly recommend my second time looking forward in future for a return to earlier memories.

Very "country home" feel to the restaurant. The menu was small, but perfect for breakfast. Prices were affordable for the amount of food you get. Mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar are a great treat! The griddle cakes were HUGE and very filling. Go hungry and leave stuffed. Our waitress was great and the other staff were friendly as well. Only 2 downsides that kept me from giving a 5 star was the amount of time it took to receive our food as well as the toast coming out cold, barely toasted and with no butter on them. Other than that, everything was delicious. The 2nd thing that was a negative is that you can't have more than one check at a table on Sundays. It was just two of us, but we were paying separately and were not able to have two checks so one of us had to pay for both meals.

Harvest Table catered our wedding at Little Piney Lodge earlier this month. Mary and the rest of the staff were so kind and accommodating throughout the entire experience. The food they prepared for the tasting was delicious but we had to pay for it ($8 each) and share very small samples amongst the three of us.

On the day of our wedding, the staff they sent were very nice and timely. Unfortunately, the pulled pork was dry, the vegetables were a bit undercooked, and the macaroni and cheese just tasted like noodles. Regardless, the guests generally loved the food. I think we just knew how much better the food was when we had it in-house versus when it was catered.

    Overall a pretty positive experience.
