    I wish I could give this place more stars! Let me start by saying that the owner and her family are very welcoming and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in because this restaurant reminds me of home. Yesterday was my first time eating there and it was an awesome experience. I've had some bad experiences in take out restaurants from rude staff to rude patrons but the staff here provides top notch customer service. The only drawback was witnessing a very obnoxious and rude man order at least $50 of food only to disgustingly scarf down less than half of it and callously leave the rest of it on the table without throwing it out. Other than that this restaurant is the real deal and the smoked wings are DELICIOUS!!!

    I have been waiting so many years for an authentic Chicago restaurant to come to the 417 ever since my dad took me to uncle Remus chicken when I was a kid on Chicago’s south side, and now that restaurant is finally here in the 417 and I can hardly believe it!

    We ordered the mild sauce chicken which is absolutely authentic to Chicago as well as their slow smoked rib tips, brisket and a full order of some of the best real catfish and not swai in the 417!

    It was so good we stopped by two days in a row and will definitely be coming back time and time again.

    Stopped by Sunday, the fried chicken was the best I've had in the 417!
    Freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, WHOLE chicken wings cooked when ordered that come with fries.
    I also tried the chicken tips (out of curiosity) and they were tender and delicious. Looking forward to trying the brisket and catfish on my next visits.

    My new go to for fresh delicious food! This restaurant just opened and they are off to a great start. We had the fried catfish, turkey burger and wings. All were freshly prepared and well seasoned. Also, the staff was so courteous and helpful offering suggestions and answering my questions. I’m from Chicago and it’s nice to have a taste of home right in my neighborhood.. I can’t wait to return and try other items on the menu.

    The wings and rib tips were phenomenal! Some of the best wings I’ve ever had in my life! Will be returning to this place frequently.
