El Paraiso Mexican Kitchen Downtown Springfield

My husband and I came here while visiting from Oklahoma and we were not disappointed! Very fresh and delicious food at a great value!

After Covid hit, restaurants close by 9 or 10pm, even on Saturday. El Paraiso was open till midnight Saturday! I would recommend this place any time on any day, but a late dinner option beyond processed chicken, hamburgers and fries…finally delicious, nutritious, real food for real people who are sometimes out later than normal! I’ll be ordering once a week minimum regardless of the time.

Also, I’m intrigued by the huge tomahawk steak on the menu. Next time I’m in the mood for way too much steak and can spare the expense, Ill be leaving another review.

Been to this location 3 times since they opened, and it's been outstanding every time! The staff, the food, the margaritas--everything is fantastic. It's definitely the better of the 2 downtown Mexican places!

Had lunch there today, everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly suggest.
