    Just moved here and discovered this place. New favorite restaurant.

    About the only place in Springfield where you can get:
    Veal (Scaloppini or Marsala)
    Shank (Lamb or Pork)
    The Roast Half Duck sounded good
    It was the back half!, didn't say that on the menu.
    I think you should only roast the breast, confit the rear.
    Only place I have ever seen just the back half on a menu.
    They had Salmon, didn't say Alaskan on the menu so didn't try it.
    I'll be back, just wasn't wowed!

    Delicious, romantic loved that it felt authentic with the chef/ owner checking on the tables. Great personal touch, care and pride with the dining experience ?

    Wonderful meal and service and the atmosphere is very nice. You will not but disappointed if you eat here. The menu is very diverse and everything is very good. Cannot wait to return.

    Nicola's has the best and most authentic Italian cuisine in Springfield, Missouri. We have enjoyed many excellent birthday celebrations and family dinners here. The service is always great and the food is delicious. They do a great job of accommodating special requests in our experience specifically to children. Nicola's is easily the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Springfield.
