Smokin' Bob's BBQ

Food was great. Got the 6 piece ribs with hot sauce and smoked Mac and cheese. All delicious. They had limited availability on meat (their primary product) a few weeks ago when I called but I chalked that up to the pandemic. Glad they had availability this time and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

I had an issue on the customer service side this time. I called ahead to see if they had curbside service, and they said they do when they aren’t busy. I called later, made my order, and when I pulled up, called.

At that point they told me they could not do curbside. It was me and another customer who walked in seconds before me and walked out seconds before me.

My question is: is that busy for you?

Maybe it is, and maybe orders were happening in the background that a customer wouldn’t be aware of.

It was just odd to me

The staff was incredibly nice and the food was great. I asked if the Mac and cheese was spicy (looking for something for my two year old) he gave us a free cup of it and said "it's sometimes to spicy for kids so I won't make you pay for something he may not be able to eat."

Best BBQ in town

We stopped here for lunch as it was right off of Hwy 65. The service was friendly. The restaurant was clean and modern. The barbecue was amazing!! I had the pulled pork sandwich with cheddar cheese sauce, Cole slaw, and jalapeños. So good! This is will be a must stop in future travels through Springfield. Large portions and good prices!!

Best BBQ in Springfield hands-down! Big sandwiches great quality of meat. Sides are terrific as well. Great prices $40 fed a family of 4. My only complaint is now that I’m full I didn’t get that smoked cheese blueberry cake. Great bunch of guys I support small business ✊?
