Always a good day when work brings me downtown....I get Taylor's!!
CASH ONLY.
Wort it! The steak burgers are bigger than the bun. Made to order and freaking delicious! It's a throwback establishment that doesn't care or apologize for being what it is. There is a nostalgia there that is alluring. If you have cash in your pockets and want one of the best smash burgers in the county this is the place for you
I've lived in Springfield for over 30 years, and yesterday was my first visit to Taylor's. All the home grown people of Springfield, have all raved abouts Taylor's burgers and shakes. My friend and I were driving down Kimbrough talking about where to have lunch. Just then we came up to Taylor's. The parking lot wasn't full, so, on two wheels, we swerved into the lot and parked right in front.
We both ordered the double chess burger and chocolate shakes. OMG!Delicious!
The service was fast and friendly and so were the other customers having lunch. If you've never been to Taylor's, don't wait as long as I did, to have the perfect old-fashioned burger and thick, thick shake. 🤗
The burger it's self tasted great, the meat had so much flavor now the lettuce " the pice" should of went into the trash in stead of my burger and the tomato was what I cut off and throw in the trash.
