“I bet I've driven by a waffle house over 100 times and other then they never really looked like a place worth going to we decided to go to the one in Springfield Mo. since it was near our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and good the place was. the waffles were thinner than we are used to but were very good. The guy at the counter who helped me was extremely polite and explained the menu and special of the day and even went so far as to describe the different meats used in the Chicago vs the Italian. Gotta love good polite and helpful service! I opted for the Italian with hot peppers and man I didn’t want the sandwich to end!! It was so ridiculously good part of me wants to go back for dinner and try another! Great spiciness and a hearty portion of meat made for a phenomenal sandwich. I also got fries but they didn’t make the trip home for me to take a picture of. However it was a sandwich bag size order of fries that were crispy and thick just how I love em. Honestly I don’t think it’s possible to find a meal of this size that will make your taste buds jump for joy for under $15 anywhere in the city. Great experience great food, highly recommended.”
