Excellent service and excellent food. The location is streamlined and speed of service was amazing. Came in late at night and they were warm as day! Good to see local own restaurants in the city! May this place live long and prosper! Just so happen to stumble by this little place down the street from our hotel. If we said the food was delicious, that would be an understatement. By far the best home style soul food cooking we’ve had in a very long time. The service was great and the place was very clean. We will come back thru the next time we visit KC.

This is definitely a foodie's destination.....Kingfish Soulfood is an excellent place to eat....I ordered the basa fish Po'boy sandwich and seasoned fries. It was more than enough food for one...in fact I split it with a close friend and still got plenty full. The owner and cashier were super friendly and greeted you as you enter the building... They were very helpful in answering the many questions that I had about the menu...I will be going back for sure... Awesome, Awesome, Awesome... Excellent job Kingfish...

We just keep going back. My husband loves the meatloaf and yams. And the catfish is????????let me tell the liver is tender.... Stop in and see Eric and LaTeia for some old school favorites.
