I'm not a big pork eater, but I've been craving a pork tenderloin sandwich for a few weeks. So, I decided to give Dirty Bird's a try. I ordered their pork tenderloin sandwich through Door Dash. I have to say that the taste was amazing! I think their sandwich stands up pretty close to Kitty Cafe's famous pork tenderloin sandwich. I think they should create a signature sauce to go with the sandwich. I definitely be ordering it again.
We stopped in here before going to the Alice Cooper show at the Starlight theater. All kinds of people there so that was cool. There is a smoking area out front and you can take your drink with you. We met some cool people and had a great time. There is a dart board and I think a pool table. Wait staff were pretty girls and they were really nice.
Amazing!! Awesome!! The best prime rib dip I have ever had!! The meat was cooked to perfection!! My wife and youngest daughter had hamburgers and oldest daughter had tacos, everyone loved what they had. Will be going again soon. It's a must try!!! Makes me really happy to know this place is close and will have your order ready quick. Thank you for the great dinner experience.
While the preponderance of the following was true, the next time that I went back, I was treated better... They at least gave me a cup of water. It appears to be a decent place from the outside. However, I was refused service because I do not know, maybe I am an old white guy, and I had about two drinks just a few minutes earlier. I consumed those because I knew I couldn't take them into a bar. I consumed same while I was resting from a long walk. I had just walked about 10 miles with a green bag that contained about 50+ pounds of stuff in it. Anyway, the man at the door decided to not let me in. Why? Because I am an old white guy who had consumed 2 drinks = I was drunk from the perspective of the young man at the door. But false. It is nearly impossible for me to get "drunk" because I am handicapped, my age is 58+, good physical condition, and most importantly in 2014 I had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery. So I cannot get drunk unless basically I have an IV drip laced with ethanol. Every time I drink a shot of vodka or whatever, unless it is diluted with a whole glass of water as a chaser, I get between 40 to 80 proof alcohol straight into my small intestine. I was a little dizzy, but no way drunk. Anyway, bam the door closed... So thanks for at least giving me a cup of water. So now I have to go sit at the outer part of the parking lot and curb, and from that foxhole I did in fact try to get drunk because I then drank about 5 more only slightly diluted vodka shots from a Powerade drink I had drank most ~ then I added vodka to the top so ~ 30 proof. Then when I was finally let in into the bar, I was close to being drunk... So why do they let me in? It was to allow me to do what? I do not know. I gave back the $20 that they gave to me to leave (sorry, I didn't add that info above, because that would be suspicious that they really were discriminating against me, an old white guy. Or maybe they figured out I was not a cop or affiliated with any law enforcement or maybe they figured out I planned to keep sitting at the curb until morning... If this dirty bar knows where that large Walmart bag is located. It might still be important to some important people, and I still am missing important evidence that appears to have been taken out of my bag. In the end, I was given an half eaten jelly roll... so it was pleasure meeting you. Whom may I ask is the one gentleman, Wayne Thornton, whom they said to me offered the $20 for me to leave?
I've been going here from time to time. Service is always friendly and attentive. Drinks are a great price. They have a great food selection. It's a solid neighborhood bar for the locals. I'm giving them 5 stars for their service, affordable food and drinks and for making me a customized meatball sub that's not on their menu. I didn't expect they would but I was happy they did. It was great!
