Late review on my multiple visits. Very good food with a simple and clean interior. It’s the first sushi place I recommend to friends and family visiting KC.

This was our first experience here and it was absolutely amazing. We chose to come here because of online reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was great. Although the menu is smaller than other sushi restaurants we've been to, they put time and care into each order. Definitely a place we will come back to!

Wow! What a gem! It was my first time here tonight and I was delightfully shocked. The service was incredible and the sushi was even better. I ordered the Philadelphia roll and the special, a crispy salmon skin roll. Hands down, best sushi in KC! Don’t sleep on this amazing place! Highly recommend and will be coming back regularly.

I love Bob Wasabi - best sushi joint in town. Unassuming but spectacular. They have REALLY generous portions of REALLY good fish. Service is always top notch and they repeatedly have some of the best health and cleanliness ratings of all the restaurants in town. If I'm choosing a sushi place, this is the only one I go to.

PS - be sure to ask what the off-menu specials are. I recommend the sweet shrimp.

First visit, very impressed. Ordered the seaweed salad and the 5-6 combo (chefs choice). Everything was perfect. The portions were incredible. I needed a knife to cut the pieces into bite size. This has to be the best sushi joint in Kansas City.
